Tired of theoretical risk assessments? Join Mitratech’s Laura Jacobus and EchoStar’s John Woodruff for a practical session focusing on the how of conducting effective risk assessments and what to do with the data once you have it. Come to hear about:
Current Ethisphere clients are invited to bring your own device and work with an Ethisphere expert to fill out a section of the Ethics Quotient or learn more about how to use your data in the Sphere.
Compliance and sustainability risks are inevitable—constant firefighting doesn’t have to be. In this interactive, case-based workshop, participants will work through a realistic compliance and sustainability crisis affecting a global subsidiary. Attendees will join Ethisphere experts Craig Moss, EVP of Measurement, and Eric Jorgenson and Emily Miner, Directors in Data & Services, to break into role-based teams to assess the situation and put out the fire to minimize damage to business continuity and reputation. Then the groups will apply residual risk calculations to prioritize next steps over the following 6–12 months to prevent future crises. The session will also explore how Generative AI can leverage residual risk data to help scale compliance and sustainability risk management across complex organizations.
The Ethisphere Data Intelligence Lab is an interactive space where attendees experience the full value of Ethisphere’s data, platform, and expertise—live and in context. Each 90-minute breakout opens with senior data experts exploring the “why” behind key assessment questions and sharing first insights from the 2026 World’s Most Ethical Companies® data. This year’s data presentation focuses on the themes of organizational justice and the influence of managers. Attendees then choose their experience: hands-on platform access and live training, facilitated peer meetups to apply insights in practice, or open “ask us anything” conversations with Ethisphere’s data experts.

It’s 2026, and teams continue to remain under pressure to justify spend, demonstrate impact, and respond to increasingly sophisticated questions from boards and regulators. Activity metrics alone are no longer enough, leaders are being asked to provide assurance.

This interactive 90-min workshop explores how E&C leaders can translate program activity into defensible, decision-ready insights that resonate with boards and executive leadership. Participants will examine:

This session, led by Lilian Lustre, will highlight how Sanofi is using data and AI to modernize compliance oversight, with a special focus on our SAP Concur AI–driven expense monitoring solution. Through the Assurance Function Analytics (AFA) data lake, we integrate enterprise systems to detect risks at scale and enable real time insights. A flagship example is the automation of travel and expense approvals, where AI now reviews 70% of transactions, reducing payment time from 7 to 2 days and cutting auditor workload by nearly 70%, while significantly improving fraud detection and identifying recurring behavioral patterns. These advances illustrate how data science and responsible AI are reshaping assurance functions—making monitoring more efficient, targeted, and proactive, and reinforcing our global commitment to integrity.
There are some situations that are easy to train managers to address—what to do when being offered a gift from a supplier, the process for escalating reports of misconduct from a team member, or how to have a conversation on workplace safety. Other areas, not so much. Managers play a huge role in modeling behavior and influencing the culture of their teams, so it is important for them to understand how to address situations where the answer may not be clear. In this session, learn how organizations are equipping their managers to make ethical decisions in ambiguous situations, from trainings to tools and everything in between.
Legal and compliance crises — including regulatory inquiries, dawn raids, public whistleblowers and trade/sanctions exposure — rarely announce themselves. The speed, clarity, and coordination of your response will define not only how effectively you navigate the immediate challenge, but the nature and extent of liability or other damage long after the event has passed.
In this session, we’ll share practical, experience driven guidance to help you prepare for the unexpected and respond effectively to crises.  Together we’ll consider the following questions, among others:  What are the crises with the most significant legal/ethical implications threatening companies today?  What are the most important practical steps companies should be taking today to prevent and prepare for the unanticipated?  What are common pitfalls to avoid in the critical early hours of a crisis—when thoughtful action can dramatically reduce legal and reputational risk?
Join us to explore how preparation today can safeguard your company tomorrow.
